”From selling under a tree to owning a shop” – Man who lost his job and started business with N4,300 shows off his new store
A South African man identified as Tsepo Rapudi has become a source of inspiration to many with the story of how he opened his own business within a year of losing his job.
He lost his job in 2019, but that did not make him depressed or weigh him down, rather than sulk, he sought a way to bounce back to his feet.
It’s 2021 and he is the proud owner of his own Spaza store. His story was shared on Twitter by Kasi Economy.

Meet Tshepo Rapudi from Esangweni in Tembisa, he lost his job in 2019 and started the business in 2020, he started with only R150 whereby he stocked 24 cases of fruit juice and made profits and reinvested the profits,’‘ the post reads.
