I Do Not Want To Go To Jail, This Is How I Will Be Tweeting Now – Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy » LiteLoaded

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mavin record label, Michael Collins Ajereh (AKA Don Jazzy) took to his instagram page to tell his fans how he will be adjusting to the new suspension placed on Twitter, one of the widely used micro blogging app in Nigeria.

Ever since the federal government of Nigeria placed a ban on the use and access to Twitter in Nigeria, many Nigerians cannot make use of the platform anymore. Many business men, entertainers and entrepreneurs depend on the use of Twitter to promote the sales of their goods, unfortunately this suspension is going to have a terrible effect on them and their businesses.

Don jazzy, who is an entertainer and needs to keep consistent social media presence was also affected by the Twitter ban. The celebrity has however revealed that he found a new way to tweet without even making use of Twitter.

Gathered reports show that some Nigerians are still making use of Twitter through the use of a virtual private network (VPN) which changes their locations to grant access to the restricted platform. In the bid to stop Nigerians from making use of VPN to access Twitter, the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami has ordered for the persecution of violators of the Twitter Suspension.

Don jazzy in reaction to this, said that the new way he will be tweeting now is to edit a picture of his message, write the word “tweet” on top and share the message on Instagram. Check out the photo he shared below to demonstrate what he was saying.

The celebrity also used the medium to commend the movie he just finished seeing “Thevillagepeople”. According to him, the movie was produced by Bovi and he finds it really interesting

.

I will advise all Nigerians to stay off Twitter for their own safety. What matters is that everyone is alive.
