Paul Pogba open to staying at Man Utd as saga takes another twist

Paul Pogba’s future is one of the main talking points this summer amid the possibility of losing the midfielder on a free transfer for the second time in a decade. The 28-year-old is free to leave for nothing next summer and has reportedly attracted interest from several clubs.

Paris Saint-Germain, in particular, have been monitoring Pogba and also have the means to fund a transfer, whereas Real Madrid and Juventus are two clubs evidently not immune to the COVID-19 pandemic and its financial repercussions.

According to The Athletic, however, a move back to his hometown Paris is not said to be appealing to Pogba at the time of writing. But the former Juventus star is still said to be keeping his options open as the endless saga takes another twist.

Furthermore, it is claimed in the report that Pogba is open to extending his current contract at Manchester United as negotiations with his representatives are expected to continue into the new season.
