Liverpool may be the last club that Jurgen Klopp manages according to Markus Babbel.
The former Liverpool man believes Klopp will leave the club management when his stay at Anfield is over.
The German manager has repeatedly reassured supporters that he will not be leaving Anfield anytime soon, and has signaled his intention to stay at the club until the end of his contract in the summer of 2024.
And now Babbel has backed the Reds boss’s loyalty and goes so far as to claim he will not run another club after Liverpool.
The former defender said the only job he could imagine Klopp taking over after his Anfield career would be the German national team position.
He spoke exclusively to NetBet: “I do not believe that Jurgen Klopp will go to another club after Liverpool.
“He will never travel to Bayern Munich because he spent seven years at Borussia Dortmund, who are their biggest rivals, so that will not happen.
“It would not be Jurgen Klopp, it would be the same in England that he would not go to Manchester United after Liverpool.
“The only thing I can imagine is the German national team after Hansi Flick, whenever it may be.
“I think Liverpool will be the last club for Jurgen Klopp, because in his eyes he came from Mainz, which is an emotional club, the same with Dortmund and now Liverpool, which you can not get much better than.”
Reports showed that Klopp was one of two leading candidates for the German job after it was confirmed that Joachim Low would leave his post after 15 years at the helm.
However, the Liverpool boss ruled out a dispute in March, signaling he intends to fulfill his contract with the club until 2024, much to the relief of the loyal Anfields.
